Needle in Hand present a range of sewing patterns catering for all skill levels and covering a wide range of sizes.
With over 50 years of costuming for the stage between us, we wanted our brand to have a theatrical theme running through it. Our designs are presented in Chapters, each containing 5 acts. The instruction booklets are divided into scenes and even include an interval halfway through!
We really hope you enjoy making our designs as much as we have enjoyed creating them.
Our boxed patterns contain an instruction booklet, a paper pattern and a Needle in Hand label to sew into your finished garment. The pattern paper is durable so can be re-pinned to a wide variety of fabrics to produce a limitless number of garments based around one, simple to follow, pattern.

Chapter 1 - The Capsule Wardrobe
Our first Chapter consists of five Acts: The Rebecca Blouse, The Emily Skirt, The Molly Trousers, The JaneJacket and The Edie Dress. They have been designed specifically to compliment each other. Collect them all and make your very own Capsule Wardrobe.
Chapter 2
Chapter 2 also consists of 5 acts, starting off with The Rosie Sleeveless Wrap, The Susan Blouse and The Margaret Shawl. These new designs have been designed with Spring in mind and can all be made from a variety of different fabrics to suit any occasion. Watch this space for the remaining 2 designs coming very soon!
