We are Rebecca Harrison and Emily Kingston-Lee and have been friends for over 30 years.

We both attended the London College of Fashion studying Theatrical Costume, however not at the same time as there are 5 years between us!

Our paths crossed at Angels the Costumiers in London and we hit it off straight away. After working alongside each other for a couple of years we went our separate ways working at The Royal Opera House and the RSC, but still very much kept in touch. Then, as we started our families we became freelance costumiers.

This continues to be a wonderful period in our lives, working for West End Theatres and Opera Houses, Broadway and everything inbetween.

Now we are thrilled to bring you Needle in Hand, sewing patterns we hope you will love and reuse over and over again. We look forward to expanding our collection to give you your perfect wardrobe.
