The Emily Skirt has a unique tie pull waist that makes looking fabulous easy. The waistband is flat at the front and lightly gathered at the back to give a flattering silhouette, and with just one pattern piece repeated in the main body of the skirt and no tricky fastenings, The Emily Skirt is very simple to make. The sizes range from 8-30.
The box contains a paper pattern, detailed instructions and a Needle in Hand label.
Suitable fabrics include : lightweight denim, cotton, lightweight linen, needlecord and viscose
Based on fabric that is 150cm wide:
Sizes 8-18 will need 2m 25cm
Sizes 20-30 will need 3m
We recommend that you use 3m of ribbon for the ties instead of making them out of the fabric if you choose a heavy material for the skirt.
